About the Workshop
Shannon O'Neill teaches a style of organic improv that forces you to be in the moment. This six hour workshop will focus on the beginning of the Harold. Openings, edits and into the start of scenes.
Ideally, students in this workshop have been exposed to a few or all of the following openings, pattern game, scene painting, sound and movement, invocation & documentary and definitely know the Harold structure well.
If everyone behaves themselves, we may get to doing a full blown organic Harold by the end of the 6 hours.

Shannon O'Neill
Shannon is a veteran performer of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and long time member of the NYC Improv community. She hosted and produced ASSSSCAT NYC for almost a decade and is a member of the legendary Stepfathers.
You’ve seen her in a lot of tv shows like Broad City, The Chris Gethard Show, High Maintenance, Difficult People, Neon Joe Werewolf Hunter and The Other Two. Her voice was dubbed over in an episode of Man Seeking Woman, which felt like rejection, but this show got her into SAG, so you gotta take what you can get.
You can see her take a dramatic turn in How To Fix a Drug Scandal on Netflix and the wonderful queer thriller Women Who Kill streaming somewhere. Google it!
Shannon loves dogs and will pet as many as she can wherever she goes.
