About the Workshop
Do you fear a scene where you are put on the spot to do or be something and you instantly get in your head about it? Take this 3 hour workshop where you will improvise in ways you are not expecting.
Curve balls thrown at you, spotlight shining, pushed outside your comfort zone, to prove… you can do it!
Especially in a fun supportive workshop where everyone will be shitting their pants along with you.
Your Instructor
Shannon O'Neill
Shannon is a veteran performer of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and long time member of the NYC Improv community. She hosted and produced ASSSSCAT NYC for almost a decade and is a member of the legendary Stepfathers.
You’ve seen her in a lot of tv shows like Broad City, The Chris Gethard Show, High Maintenance, Difficult People, Neon Joe Werewolf Hunter and The Other Two. Her voice was dubbed over in an episode of Man Seeking Woman, which felt like rejection, but this show got her into SAG, so you gotta take what you can get.
You can see her take a dramatic turn in How To Fix a Drug Scandal on Netflix and the wonderful queer thriller Women Who Kill streaming somewhere. Google it!
Shannon loves dogs and will pet as many as she can wherever she goes.
