About the Workshop
We’ll look at three scenic structures to find how each can elevate your work. What strategies work best for what material? How can we use different shapes to add more variety to our shows?
Prerequisite: You’ll get more out of this if you’ve done improv for a few years.
Your Instructor
Nick Mandernach
Nick Mandernach has been improvising for eighteen years at UCB. He's performed with house team JV, the improvised emo band Every Place I Cry, and on DropOut TV's Make Some Noise. Nick has written for TV shows like: The Great North, Duncanville, and Young Sheldon. His fiction has appeared in New England Review, EPOCH, and The Florida Review.
