Will Hines is an actor and writer who has performed at UCBT since November 2000. He currently lives in Los Angeles, where he performs with the improv group The Smokes. He's been on the TV shows "Broad City," "Brooklyn 99" "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" and "Inside Amy Schumer" and he's also a regular on the podcasts "Comedy Bang Bang" and "Improv4Humans." He also writes sketch comedy, including his award-winning show "A Soundly Defeated Man."
Billy Merritt has been a performer, teacher, and director with the UCB Theatre since it first opened in New York. He is a founding member of improv groups The Swarm, and The Stepfathers in New York, and The Smokes in Los Angeles. As a teacher Billy has developed many improvised longform shows. Such as, The Documentary, Improvised One Acts, The Ninja, Murder Murder, Robot Theatre, and the Holiday Spectacular. His TV credits include MTV's Boiling Points, Best Week Ever, Reno 911, Law and Order, Workaholics, Happy Endings, Weeds, Parks and Rec., Brooklyn Nine Nine, and Another Period. He was the host of "Uncorked" with Billy Merritt, a food, wine and travel show that can still be seen on Hulu. Billy's voice can be heard on the new Cartoon Network show Steven Universe, and can currently be seen on IFC in the Divorced Dad Cooking Show shorts as well as Rob Riggle's Ski Master Academy coming soon on Sony Digital's Crackle
Heather Anne Campbell
Heather Anne Campbell, is an Emmy nominated writer and comedian. Her credits include Twilight Zone, Saturday Night Live, Whose Line is it Anyway?, The Eric Andre Show, Comedy Central's Corporate, TBS' Miracle Workers, Drew Carey's Improv-a-Ganza, Key & Peele, JCVJ, Incredible Crew, MADtv, Amsterdam's Boom Chicago, and The Groundlings Sunday Company. She's been nominated for both an American Comedy Award and a Webby, and interviewed by Time Magazine.
She performs live at UCB Los Angeles with The Midnight Show and in the long-form improv show Last Day of School. Her Cagematch team, Hebecky Drysbell, is the longest-running team in UCBLA history, with 79 wins. She broke her own record, formerly held by Heather&Miles.
Heather was also senior editor of Play Magazine and Geek Monthly. She still plays video games every day. She hobbies in photography, and has taken National Geographic's photo of the month.
Rebecca Drysdale was born in Akron Ohio, grew up in Versailles, Vancouver Canada, Montreal Canada and New York City. She attended Sarah Lawrence College for a minute, where she met her writing partner Jordan Peele and subsequently moved to Chicago to pursue sketch comedy and Improvisation. Rebecca is an Alum of Boom Chicago in Amsterdam, and The Second City Chicago where she toured with the National Touring Company and later became a resident cast member. In 2005 Rebecca won the first ever Breakout performer award at the Aspen Comedy Festival. Rebecca has appeared at the Improv Olympic Chicago and West, The Upright Citizen's Brigade East and West, The Second City Chicago, and owns and runs the Clubhouse, an independent improv theatre in Hollywood. She Performs regularly at The UCB Theater and set the record at UCB Cagematch with her team Hebecky Drysbell. Rebecca also has written for Key & Peele and acted in Orange is the New Black.
